For too long in Northeastern Pennsylvania, the public has been deprived of important news. The local media has practiced a “Catch and Kill” policy, burying negative stories of their favored individuals, particularly public officials.We aim to provide a different perspective.

Our first series will focus on the City of Scranton and the Scranton School District. We made this decision based on two criteria: where we can have the greatest impact with our limited staff and where public officials have been most shielded. We are committed to revealing how taxpayer dollars are being wasted and the secret deals that influence decision-making.

We have submitted Right To Know requests to both organizations and will report on the requests and their responses. Additionally, we welcome tips from the general public at [email protected]. We have already received several tips and will report on them soon. Stay tuned for more updates!
